NASA'nın Explorer (LADEE) ay atmosfer, ay toz yüzey ve çevresel etkiler yakın koşulları hakkında ayrıntılı bilgi toplamak için ay yörüngesinde bir robot 6 Eylül 2013 tarihinde Virginia NASA'nın Wallops Uçuş Tesisi den başlaması planlanıyor, LADEE, gelişmiş inşa, entegre ve Moffett Field, California'da NASA'nın Ames Araştırma Merkezi'nde test, tasarlanmış olan ilk uzay aracı oldu 

 Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer: Mission Overview (Updated) NASA's Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer (LADEE) is a robotic mission that will orbit the moon to gather detailed information about the lunar atmosphere, conditions near the surface and environmental influences on lunar dust. Scheduled to launch from NASA's Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia on Sept. 6, 2013, LADEE is the first spacecraft designed, developed, built, integrated and tested at NASA's Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, Calif. The video presents the reasons for the mission, the science of the mission and how the public can help the LADEE team with its collection of data as LADEE orbits the Moon. This version of the video contains an updated section on the science instruments aboard the spacecraft
